Sunflower's Sure Grow Fast!

Here Jess is with one of her sunflowers on April 23rd.  Just a few days after the last pic I posted.

Mike has been documenting the sunflowers growth against Jessica's every couple days.  This pic is from April 27th.  It's pretty crazy how fast these things grow.

Game 2: Amazing Plays

Tonight the Hot Rods played the Bees in what ended up being a nail biter at the bottom of the 6th! The final score was 29-23 Hot Rods. Our little Bee Jessica had some fantastic power hits!

Madison hit her first ever home run!!!  Here's the stance and the swing.  It was absolutely amazing to see!

Jessica loves being surrounded by so many of her friends and past teamates.

Here are: Jessica, Madison, Katie and Savannah.

And of course....

Game 1: The Bees vs. The Storm

Monday was Jessica's first softball game of the season.  All the girls played great!  Jess got a new bat and it's 34 inches to go with her height but it's also a lot heavier.  She had a hard time hitting the first time at bat (even though she's been practicing), but she finally connected and hit every time at bat.  She was really looking good.

Here she is after pictures and practice.  Getting ready to start the big game.

She started out at catcher.  Coach is rotating them through all the positions.  One of Jess's favorites is catcher.

Jess at bat.  Unfortunately, the Bees lost 14-10.  But they all played a great game!

Thunder Playoffs

Thanks to Glenn and the Radio Station Mike and I went to see the Thunder playoff game with Mandy and Ricardo.

I fell in love with hockey!  How much fun!

The Thunder lost that night by two points, but it was a good game with a lot of action.

Two days later on April 18, 2012 it's grown about 2 inches!!

Seedling Sunflower 1

Mike and Jessica started seedling sunflowers at the end of February.  Mike has been documenting their growth.  Here Jessica is on April 16 with one of them.

Once they pop out of the dirt they grow rapidly!!
