Yum, Yum, Yum

I took a couple days off and did some baking.

 I made homemade peanut butter cups for the first time.  I got the recipe from one of my favorite blogs: browneyedbaker.com.  They were very good...

And sweet....

 They are Mike's favorite.  But I think Jessica ate the most of them.  Mike went to get one and she'd eaten almost all of them.  What a little piggy!

 Here they are. Ready to gift!

Then I made biscotti (with the help of my mother-in-law) for our Girlie cookie exchange.

These Wonderful Kids

These four kids are so great!  I love them all so much!

All the kids took a picture with their gingerbread guy.  Madison's was a cutie!!!

Canaan's was very precise (perhaps because his Mommy helped him)

Jess always operates under the more is better philosophy.

And I think Ian is a bit of a minimalist.  I really like it!!!

Letters for Christmas

For Christmas I made letters for Kim for her sewing room. I love the way they turned out!!!!

I got Mike a hat embroidered with his Xbox handle.  He said it was the best hat he's ever had.  I'm so glad!!

Jessica's big gift was a sewing machine.  She was so excited to open it and start sewing.  We took it with us to my mom's on Christmas so she could get started.
