Two Little Birdies

We were at my mom's a couple weeks ago and her hummingbird feeder had three hummingbirds feeding all at the same time.  I couldn't get a picture with all three no matter how hard I tried, but I thought this one was adorable with two of them looking at a third (just to the right of my picture) he was just hovering there and it's like they were visiting.  It was funny.

Never Too Old to Learn

A few weeks ago we went over to Will & Elaine's and Elaine taught Lorraine and I how to french braid.  I don't know how I made it 32 years thinking that this was too difficult for me to do!!  After about 25 minutes of Elaine's patient teaching and the girls impatient guinea pigging I got it.

I did it a few days later and it turned out pretty good!!!

Why Oh Why

So, of course seeing as how Jess is so clumsy Mike let her buy a skateboard.

So far she hasn't fallen, but she's just practiced standing on it and riding back and forth.

She gets bored with it fairly quickly.

Klutsy Girl

Jess fell off her bike the other day in front of the house.  She looks like she got into a fight.  She says she gets her klutsiness from her mother.  I have to agree, but she takes it to new heights.

Her P E teacher even teases her because she's such a klutz!

Cupcakey

Jess made cupcakes all on her own the other day!

They were strawberry and very yummy.

But while they were cooling her friend came over and she left for a playdate before she frosted them.  I had to frost them because Mike was chomping at the bit!!
